The Upper Springfield Development Trust wishes to appoint a:
Job Title: Advocacy Worker
Location: USDT Action on Disability, 689 Springfield Road, Belfast, BT12 7FP
Hours: 18 hours per week over a minimum of 3 days to be agreed
Salary: £11,379.84
Contract: Fixed term Contract until 31st March 2015 (possible extension subject to funding)
Job Purpose: The post holder will be responsible for supporting people with disabilities and/or their family/carer through our Independent (issue based) Advocacy Service. The role will help address inequalities, discrimination and promote social inclusion. It will also support people in identifying and securing their entitlements to services and community opportunities.
