Outsource Finance

Outsource Financial Management works as part of the Upper Springfield Development Company Ltd. The company set up the social enterprise in 2004 with funding from Belfast Local Strategy Partnership with the aim of providing financial management services to community groups and local businesses.

The project has grown and is currently sustaining employment for 6 full-time staff members and 2 full-time trainees (Funded by Employment Services Board) who are providing services to the following:

• Community and voluntary based organisations, including social enterprises, private enterprises (including sole traders) and self-employed (directly or via book-keepers/accountants).

The range of services provided to the community and voluntary sectors include:

• Assessment of groups' financial systems
• Examining existing procedures
• Set up/ammend financial recording and reporting systems
• Train staff and management committees to an acceptable competency to allow them to manage their finances effectively
• Book keeping service
• Invoicing
• PAYE
• VAT Returns
• Inland Revenue returns
• Monitoring returns
• Grant claims/drawdown

All of our staff continue with their professional development in the field of finance which, in turn, ensures our clients are receiving a high standard of financial management.
